Remarkable drilling performance has recently been achieved through the combination of the BICO downhole screw motors and ULTERRA drill bits.
During intermediate casing drilling in the Permian system layers, the combination of the tools of these two companies made it possible to penetrate 1,979 meters in 17 hours, that is 113.63 m/h!

DENIMEX UKRAINE is the official representative in Ukraine of North American manufacturers of the BICO DRILLING TOOLS and ULTERRA drilling equipment and, since 2017, uses a wide range of their DSMs and drill bits currently available at the DENIMEX UKRAINE production facility near Poltava (Dykanka settlement).
Through a 172 mm BICO DSM, 902 m was drilled at the Sakhalinske field with a 3,650- 4,552 m interval, drilling time - 167 h, circulation time - 207 h.
The use of the ULTERRA drill bits in Ukraine allowed penetrating over 30,000 m in total, while some of the best indicators were demonstrated at the well of the West Sosnivske GCF: drilling rate = 13.5 m/h 1,191 m with a single 444.5 mm CF619 S423 drill bit in the range of 909-2,100 m; 10.6 m/h 1,300 m with a single 311.5 mm U519S S323 drill bit in the range of 2,100-3,400 m and 9.3 m/h 1,340 m with a single 212.7 mm SPL616 M323 drill bit in the range of 3,400-4,740 m.
