This year’s VI Newfolk International Oil and Gas Conference "Coiled Tubing. Hydraulic Fracturing. Drilling Services. Directional Drilling" to be held on May 30-31 in Lviv.
The conference will start with the discussion of strategic issues of the oilfield service market development.
One of the most relevant issues for the industry is the investment climate. Roman Opimakh, Executive Director of the Gas Producers Association of Ukraine, will analyze the factors affecting the investment attractiveness of the industry and will predict whether 2019 will be the year of the investment boom in the Ukrainian gas production.
Directional drilling technology is now one of the most commonly used in the international oilfield service market. For the time being, Ukrainian service companies are still doing the first steps in mastering it. Vitaliy Vitryk, CEO of NTP Burova Tekhnika, will tell about the prospects of wide use of this effective technology in Ukraine.
Qualitative drilling equipment is no less relevant issue for the oilfield service market. Ihor Stefanishyn, CEO of DC Ukrburservis, will tell about the experience of using modern heavy drilling machines.
Industry’s demand for skilled personnel is more relevant than ever before. Progressive training of future specialists is applied at the Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava National Technical University. The advances of the graduates will be delivered by its rector Volodymyr Onishchenko.
The separate section of the conference is devoted to the issue of directional drilling. Vasil Bogach, Acting Chief Engineer of Service Oil LLC, will tell about the company's experience in drilling deep wells and recovering wells through sidetracking.
A representative of Canadian EPCO Solutions will tell about vibration systems aimed at reducing accidents while drilling horizontal wells.
Andriy Delitkanych, Deputy Head of the Drilling Department of Ukrgazvydobuvannya JSC, will report how to deal with compound sections of wells.
The use of modern telemetry systems is one of the advantages of Ukrnaftagazservis. Igor Vitryk, CEO of the company, will tell about the experience of their use.
Well cementing is always the relevant issue for the industry. Doctor of Technical Sciences Oktay Mamedbekov, Newtech Ukraine LLC, will tell about modern solutions in this field.
"Intensification. Snubbing. Hydraulic Fracturing" is the subject of the third section of the VI Newfolk International Oil and Gas Conference.
Yuriy Nagornyak, Production Director of Ukrgazvydobuvannya JSC, will compare the experience of the company in well intensification in Western and Eastern Ukraine.
Oleksandr Gavrilenko, representative of BelNIPIneft LLC, will consider methods and technologies of oil inflow trough selective-directed influence on the near-wellbore formation zone.
Representatives of Region LLC are also expected to report on high-performance fluids for the treatment of wells and NOV Fidmash representatives - on the use of coiled tubing while improving recovery.
On the second day of the conference, within the framework of the section devoted to geology, exploration and information, Miron Firman, Director for Geology of Ukrgazvydobuvannya JSC, will raise the issue of oil and gas assets in Ukraine and will answer the question of what should we do right now.
Reports by representatives of DTEK Naftogaz and BREND-VIK LTD are also on agenda.
In the workshop format, CEO of the company Weatherford Ukraine Natalia Rudevich, together with the invited guests, will consider the modern ideologies and methods of management of manufacturing companies. "Turquoise oil and gas companies. Modern management techniques"- this is the subject matter of the interactive workshop.
