Wellsite Digital has opened a training center with modern simulators for training in the oil and gas business at the National Technical University "Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic".

According to Igor Vitryk, Wellsite Digital director, the training center is intended primarily for training and further certification of the international organization and IWCF.
“Today we have two simulators - DrillSim-50, DrillSim-Educator - designed for training. Generally, the use of simulators in the oil and gas industry can hardly be overestimated as they help to reduce the risks of financial loss, environmental pollution and completely remove the risks to human health.
That is why we are happy to have such an opportunity. This is the first training center of such a level in Ukraine”, - notes Igor Vitryk.
WellsiteDigital is a new generation training center, which main purpose is to provide quality knowledge to both young specialists and industry professionals.
The program of our courses was designed in accordance with the IWCF methodology and meets all international standards.
Specialists in the short term can get both theoretical and practical knowledge to help solve many production issues.
The target audience, depending on the complexity of the course, is engineers, planning engineers, supervisors, drill operators, drillers, driller assistants, as well as representatives of service companies that work directly on the drill site.
The training process can be conditionally divided into two components. The practical part: students can master skills of managing drilling rig on the latest DrillSim-50, DrillSim-Educator simulators for oil and gas operations.
Within the theoretical part, specialists will be trained to make decisions in case of emergency during drilling or overhaul, as well as to prevent accidents and complications during operation.
After the training, a knowledge assessment is made involving an international expert. The international IWCF certificate is issued in case of a positive result.
The IWCF certification has many benefits. Among the key ones are reducing the risks to human life, environmental pollution and enormous financial risks to oil and gas companies.
