On Thursday, Yuri Vitrenko, the head of the Supervisory Board of Ukrnafta PJSC, reported that last year’s company's profit was approximately UAH 6 billion 200 million. According to him, Naftogaz’s preference is to send profits to pay off the existing tax debt.
However, at the moment there is no basic standard for the share profit contribution to the state budget. Thus, Ukrnafta’s profit remained undistributed. The government is expected to approve the basic standard in the near future and next time this issue will be reviewed again.
Yuri Vitrenko also noted that the composition of the Supervisory Board of Ukrnafta has already been fully formed.
Ukrgazvydobuvannya proceeded to operations with its own hydraulic fracturing fleet at the end of the first quarter. From the beginning of the year, following the commissioning of its own fleet and with the involvement of the service companies Belorusneft and TacromServices S.R.L., 60 fracturing operations were performed, which is 4 times more than during the same period last year.
In 2019, the effect of these 60 operations will be about 360 MMCM of additional gas volume. According to the company, the launch of the new fleet will also create new jobs.
This week, the attention of the energy market was focused on the shutdown of the export of petroleum products to Ukraine from Belarus. In this regard, Sergey Fedorenko, commercial director of Ukrgazvydobuvannya, stated that in April-May, Shebelinka gas processing plant is ready to offer the Ukrainian market additional 15-20 thousand tons of light petroleum products.

Let us note that the volume of the above gas sale in the direction of Hungary was 1 MW*h. The Association of Gas Traders of Ukraine continues a public dialogue on the transfer of payments for natural gas in energy units.
Gas transit via the Ukrainian GTS sharply increased this week. The reason for that was the repair of the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline. Transit volumes grew by 60 MMCM and are now approximately 300 MMCM. Thus, the Ukrainian gas transmission system again demonstrated the flexibility and considerable reserve of transport capacity.
Ukrnafta PJSC completed the construction of an automated separation complex. The complex is designed to separate and pump out oil- and gas-water based mixture coming from the wells of the Dolinskoe and partially North-Dolinskoe fields. The complex makes it possible to reduce the loss of light hydrocarbon fractions and improve accounting.
