Mavrikiy Kalugin joins Naftogaz team. He will be involved in solving stabilization and production growth issues. Mavrikiy has 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. During the previous 5 years he worked at Ukrnafta PJSC. The innovations he proposed helped the company stabilize hydrocarbon production despite the moderate volume of the investment program.
Previously, he also held senior management positions in companies such as Petrofac, Cairn India, BP, TNK-BP, Arco Oil & Gas.

Also, Alexey Ryabchin became an advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz on the development of low-carbon business and the EU green course. His main task is to establish constant interaction with government authorities, international organizations, representatives of government agencies of the United States and the EU member states, business, think tanks and the media.
According to the data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, Burovaya Tekhnika gained the Country Choice nomination 2021 and is in the rating of reliable enterprises of our state.
Based on the results of analytics, Burovaya Tekhnika is granted the right to receive the Country Choice 2021 main award, the Country Choice expert assessment and the termless use of the Country Choice label 2021.
DTEK Oil&Gas invested almost UAH 35 million in the development and training of personnel for the period from 2019 to 2021. The company pays special attention to the development of the competencies of its employees. Every year, at least 50% of DTEK's oil and gas business employees undergo educational programs, trainings and postgraduate course. The company will allocate UAH 15.6 million to that end.

Zakhidnadraservis started geological exploration at the Ugnevskiy site. The company's specialists carry out 3D seismic surveys on the area of 39 square kilometers. The work is to be completed as early as next month, drilling of the first wells will be started in the next month.
The company received this site for use based on the results of PSA tenders in 2019.
DC Horizonty recently pioneers terratrak plus® composite plates at its wellsite. The work was carried out at the Well No. 2, Podhortsy. The drilling site covers approximately 1 hectare. The RIG 804 QD 1600 HP machine with a lifting capacity of 350 tons is being installed on this territory.
The company says about positive first impressions of using the plates. Structural strength has already been tested with a 40 ton crane.
It should be noted that this is one of the first successful examples of the use of composite plates at drilling sites in Ukraine.
Neftegaz Exploration and Production reports additional 210 mmcm of gas produced from the depleted Yablunivskoe field. This was facilitated by a set of measures for production intensification, which made it possible to move from a decrease in production to an increase in production by more than 18% in 4 years.
Due to the implementation of the production program for drilling and workover of 4 wells, the daily flow rate was increased by more than 200 mcm since the beginning of 2021.
Aleksandr Romanyuk, director of the Naftogaz Exploration and Production division, noted that the Yablunivskoe field is one of the key operating assets of Naftogaz. The field is the second large in terms of annual production in the company's portfolio and has significant prospective gas reserves, although its depletion rate has already crossed the 70% mark. Within the new strategy, the company expects to increase up to 15 bcm of gas reserves at the Yablunivskoe field. To this end, a multifunctional team was created that manages the development of the field, the company continues the program of digitalization of geological processes and scale up the stimulation program.

Yuri Vitrenko, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC, took part in the U.S. - Ukraine Business Council. In his statements, Yuri Vitrenko noted that the initial public offering (IPO) of shares of Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC as the parent company of the entire Naftogaz group has a number of drawbacks. In particular, he stressed that different assets of the company may have different pace of preparing attraction of investors. He also noted that making a decision on the readiness of the entire company for the IPO is a decision solely of the government. According to Yuri Vitrenko, the best option for investors would be the IPO of Ukrgasvydobuvannya separately.
Also the Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC Yuri Vitrenko noted that now a model of creating a sub-holding for heat supply is being considered. According to Vitrenko, this direction will include three components: biomethane production (BMS production), energy efficiency and heat supply (BST and CHP).
The energy service company ESCO-PIVNICH completed the drilling of the well No. 1 with a depth of 6,620 m on the Kubashivskaya area in the Kharkiv region. This is the deepest well of the company.
A significant inflow of hydrocarbons - more than 100 mcm of gas per day – was received at a depth of 6,620 m.

Within two years, DTEK Oil&Gas intends to drill 6 exploration wells at the Semirenkovskoe field. At the same time, the expected increase in reserves will be 4 bcm of gas. This was said by Ivan Gafich, Director for Exploration and Prospective Development of DTEK Oil&Gas during the Newfolk Conference in Lviv.
The British public company Enwell Energy, a member of the Smart Energy Group and holder, among others, of a special permit for the use of subsurface resources of the Svistunkovsko-Chervonolutskoe gas condensate field (Poltava region), also reported on the assessment of the field's reserves. DeGolyer and MacNaughton (D&M), an international independent consultant to the oil and gas industry, was involved in the assessment.
NADRAGAZ starts drilling of the well No. 14m at the Gutsulovskoe gas field in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. The design depth of the well is 950 m. The expected inflow of hydrocarbons is 10-15 mcm of gas per day. The company expects to complete drilling in June 2021.
In turn, Persha Ukrayinska Hazonaftova Kompaniya in June to start drilling of the well No. 716 at the Proletarskoe oil and gas field in the Dnepropetrovsk region. Now work is underway to arrange the drill site. Well design depth is 3,000 m. The expected volumes of natural gas production range from 80 to 100 mcm per day.
Following operations are to be done: works at the wellhead of the casing head and AF 6-65x350 Christmas tree, hookup and the killing unit with valves and local instrumentation, laying exhaust pipelines, fencing the well and arranging inside the fence, installing a service area for the Christmas tree. Completion of drilling is scheduled for July 2021.
