Zakhidnadraservis group companies - Nordik and Eco-Optima-Samborskaya solar station became the leaders of the Good Faith Taxpayer rating both in the regions and at the national level. The rating was organized by the All-Ukrainian Non-Governmental Association of Taxpayers of Ukraine.

The Public Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine reported the launch of geological information data-room for three plots - Grunivsky, Akhtyrsky and Ichnyansky.
British Regal Petroleum, which is part of the Smart Energy Group, expects to acquire new assets in the Odessa region.
The company signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the acquisition of UKRNAFTINVEST Scientific and Production Concern, which holds special permits for subsoil use of the Bilolisky block and Alibeysko-Trapivskaya area. Roughly estimated, the geological reserves of oil are about 675 million b.o.e.
Ukrnafta PJSC shared the results of extra-heavy hydraulic fracturing, which was carried out in October at the well No. 85 Strutin Dolinanaftogaz field office.
The company says that at the time of the work, the well operated with a daily production rate of about 7.5 tons of oil and 5 thousand cubic meters of gas. As a result of the work carried out in this well, as of November 25, 2019, the company received about 15 tons of oil and 9 thousand cubic meters of gas daily.
The complex of works covered washing well bottom; preparation and maintenance of geophysical work (perforation), preparatory work for lowering and landing of the packer, commissioning of the well using electric progressive cavity pump (before the well was repaired, it was operated by sucker rod), the development of the well with hourly measurement of flow rate and analysis of production.
The company especially notes the professionalism and well-coordinated actions of the organizers of these works. Among them, in particular, is the senior engineer for well repair Andrey Mindyuk, the senior engineer for production Vladimir Yasinets, the head for workover and wire line operations Vasily Melnik and the head of the workshop No. 2 Yulian Deputat.
Ukrnefteburenie PrJSC explored the fourth well this year. The company’s website reports that the initial daily production rate of natural gas amounted to 200 thousand m3, while condensate production rate totaled 20 tons. The depth of the well was 4,850 m.

18-24.11.2019

The Ukrainian regulator approved the preliminary decision on certification of the GTS Operator of Ukraine. The final decision is expected in mid-December. In the future, it is expected to place the GTS under the control of the Ministry of Finance and the transfer of assets between Ukrtransgaz and the new GTS operator.

The set of documents prepared by the regulator shall be sent to the Energy Community Secretariat for approval by the European regulator as well.
The Public Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine continues to work on improving access to geological data. Schlumberger specialists presented to the Public Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine their vision of a model for PSAs auctioning and tendering that provides for the introduction of a virtual data-room of geo-information, the preparation of a geological and economic assessment of the site. A vision was also presented of creating a national geological data repository based on the already implemented in Egypt model.
Factorial K LLC presented new modern equipment in Kiev. The machine park of the enterprise was replenished with a new DMU 50 vertically milling center, which is designed for 5 axial treatment of small parts of complex profile (including molds) made of steel, cast iron, hard-to-process non-ferrous metals, mainly with end and shank cutters, medium and small series drills production.
CadoganPetroleum’s subsidiary Yusenko Nadra announced a temporary suspension of production in Ukraine due to non-renewal of a special permit for the Blazhinskoe oil field in the Lviv region. Currently, approval was received from the Lviv Regional Council and the company looks forward for a decision of the Public Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine. The company also reports its readiness to resume work straight after the extension of the special permit.

11-17.11.2019

The difficult conditions of oil and gas fields require new approaches to solving technological challenges.

For example, operations in wells with low reservoir pressures and low permeability, especially in multilayer systems where one can observe fluid flows between reservoirs with different reservoir pressures, result in significant costs of time and material resources.
To solve this problem, experts improved some elements of downhole equipment.
Konstantin Yarovoy, one of the innovators, demonstrated the example of engineering and design approach of SelaEnergy XXI specialists.
On the element of the bottom of the pipe, which goes down for operation, the “seat pocket” was modified, in which, if applied, a special nozzle is placed with the help of a flexible pipe. Due to this nozzle, fluid flows upward from the reservoir, but shuts down the way back. Thus, all the fluid produced remains in the pipe.
As Konstantin Yarovoy noted, such a solution can lower the number of tripping operations; reduce wear of cost equipment; save time; reduce environmental risks and increase worker safety.
Poltava Petroleum Company intends to create the Svetlovschina local landscape reserve in the Novosanzhary district of the Poltava region. This was reported by Lyudmila Khomich, legal adviser at Poltava Petroleum Company, during the conference "Environmental diagnosis and recipe for recovering business in Ukraine: we are looking for a solution." The project launch was preceded by many years of research of the region’s biodiversity.
Among the top ten largest taxpayers of Ukraine are Naftogaz NJSC, Ukrgazvydobuvannya JSC and Ukrnafta. So, since the beginning of the year, Ukrgazvydobuvannya paid UAH 35.6 billion, of which the royalty payment amounted to UAH 18.8 billion.
Ukrnefteburenie PrJSC this month celebrates its 15th anniversary. We join in the congratulations and wish the company successful development.

04-10.11.2019

During the Kyiv Newfolk conference devoted to the issues of drilling and the development of the resource base of oil and gas companies in Ukraine, Yuri Nagornyak announced the creation of the Sela Energy XXI expert technology investment fund. Sela is an investment accelerator for oil and gas assets. The company is ready at its own expense to carry out an examination of complex oil and gas projects, to develop and recommend solutions for more intensive hydrocarbon recovery.
Yuriy Nagornyak highlighted that Sela Energy XXI was ready to share risks and invest funds in those companies that intend to enter the top list of Ukrainian production.
The report by Ivan Gafich, Director for Exploration and Prospective Development at DTEK Neftegaz, during the Kyiv Newfolk conference, deserves special attention. He shared the company’s proved experience in implementing technological solutions while developing deep horizons and producing unconventional gas. The company's successful experience in deep drilling suggests the possibility of producing natural gas from the dense formations of the Devonian sediments, increasing the prospects of the entire DDB.
DTEK Neftegaz’s use of modern technologies also positively affected drilling speed.
One of the key news of the past week is the appointment of Roman Opimakh the head of the Public Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine.
Among the priorities of his work, Roman Opimakh calls zero corruption tolerance in order to restore credibility to the Service, the transition from paper to digital procedures to minimize contact of market entities with the bureaucracy, which provides for the creation of an online subsoil user account.
