By the end of 2017, Ukraine reduced oil and gas condensate production by nearly 6%. In total, the enterprises produced 2,227.3 thousand tons of oil and gas condensate. Naftogaz group enterprises produced 2,000.6 thousand tons. Among them, Ukrnafta PJSC produced 1,518.2 thousand tons, Ukrgazdobycha - 482.4 thousand tons. At that, private companies increased production by more than 10%. The volume of production amounted to 226.6 thousand tons. A significant increase in production was demonstrated by such companies as Esco Pivnich, The First Ukrainian Petroleum Company from Burisma group and the company Prirodnye Resursy incorporated in Geo Alliance.
Such concern in the development is stipulated by the growing demand for the resource in the domestic market and the steady development of the LPG market.
Exploration and development drilling in the twelve months of last year amounted to 144.04 and 116.8 thousand meters respectively. The first indicator exceeded the expected target by 21%. As for the development drilling, the available results demonstrate the 88% plan completion. At the same time, last year’s figures are higher than the same in 2016: development drilling - by 16%, exploration drilling - by 36%.
