State-owned Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC in January-July 2021 reduced natural gas production compared to the same period last year by 5.2%. This is said in the company's statement.
Production fell by 437 mmcm - to 7.9 bcm. Production is 1.6% lower than provided by the production plan.
According to the company, 1.144 bcm of gas was produced in July - 4.8% less compared to the same period last year. Gas supply amounted to 1.088 bcm - 4.5% less.

In turn, DTEK Oil&Gas reported an increase in production. Growth in production was made possible by the successful implementation of the drilling program in 2020, as well as the completion of drilling 2 wells in 2021. In 2021, DTEK Oil&Gas successfully carried out workover and stimulation operations, as well as technological operations at more than 20 wells of the existing stock. The company used a number of technologies for the first time in Ukraine. DTEK's oil and gas business remains the technological leader and driver of Ukraine's oil and gas industry development.
By the end of the year, DTEK Oil&Gas expects to complete drilling of 2 more wells and put into operation a block-refrigeration unit at the Machukhskoe field. This will allow the company to reach a new production record in 2021 - 2 bcm of gas.
