According to Ukrtransgaz, 12.2 bcm of natural gas were received from Ukrainian gas companies since the beginning of the year and as of August 1, 2019, which is 2% more than in the same period last year.
53.2 bcm of natural gas were transported through the territory of Ukraine from the Russian Federation to European countries and Moldova in the first seven months of the year. Transit grew by 2.2 bcm, or 4% compared to the same figure in 2018.
Ukrtransgaz also reports that 7.2 bcm were pumped into UGS in January-July 2019, up 33% by the same period in 2018, while gas withdrawal from UGS was 5.1 bcm, which is 29% less. As of August 1, 2019, UGSs of
Ukraine contain 15.9 bcm of blue fuel. This is 24% more than a year ago.
In just seven months of 2019, 7.6 bcm of blue fuel were imported to Ukraine, which is 36% higher of the same last year’s volume.
Since the beginning of the year, all categories of Ukrainian consumers received 15.6 bcm of gas, which is 10% less than in 2018. Total gas use for production and technological losses increased by 3% and amounts to 2.2 bcm of natural gas.
According to recent reports by Ukrgazvydobuvannya JSC, the volume of commercial gas produced by the state-owned company in January-July 2019 amounted to 8.02 bcm.
The company reduced production and technological gas losses by 50 mmcm compared to July 2018.
The company delivered 1.14 bcm of natural gas to the population in July 2019.
